I am a male client who was introduced to Estrella by my wife. This is no walk-in clinic. This is a upper-scale facility. The facility is beautifully decorated (IMO), comfortable and comforting. There is a waiting area with snacks, refrigerated beverages, and DirecTV. The staff is consistently pleasant and friendly across the board.
I’m a bit surprised by the negative reviews. I guess I shouldn’t because its always the few dissatisfied that make the biggest stink and the Internet gives them a way to strike back. The satisfied rarely leave reviews and Estrella does not solicit them. I do believe that many people have unrealistic expectations and want miracles. Also, people never seem to read what they sign, listen when the terms are explained, or ask questions. I.E. Can I cancel? Is the deposit fully refundable? Partially?
I suffer from folliculitis barbae and have received laser hair removal at Estrella. I received a discounted rate for prepaying 3 sessions. I knew that what I paid was NON-REFUNDABLE. However, there was no penalty for rescheduling a procedure (there often is many providers).
My wife is a physician and many people just don’t realize how important scheduling [and adhering to it] is in a medical practice. A procedure is not a vacuum cleaner. There is no 3-day cooling off period. I’m sure if someone changes their mind the deposit can be applied to another service. READ BEFORE YOU SIGN ANY DOCUMENT ANYWHERE!
We love Estrella. Hopefully prospective clients will find this review and take the overly negative ones in context.
